welcome aboard

Ships of Hagoth is a digital-first literary magazine featuring creative nonfiction and theoretical essays by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Where other LDS-centric publications often look inward at the LDS tradition, we seek literary works that look outward through the curious, charitable lens of faith.

The Razor1911 1.0.7.0 release of GTA IV represents a significant point in the game's history, especially for PC gamers. While it offered a way to play the game without official online validation, it also underscored the challenges of game piracy and the measures developers and publishers take to protect their products. For those interested in GTA IV, exploring the game's world, story, and gameplay mechanics can provide countless hours of entertainment. However, it's essential to consider the legal and ethical implications of obtaining and playing cracked versions of games.

GTA IV is set in the fictional Liberty City, which is based on New York City. The game follows the story of Niko Bellic, a former soldier from Eastern Europe who moves to Liberty City to pursue the "American Dream." However, Niko soon finds himself entangled in a world of crime and corruption. The gameplay involves elements of driving, shooting, and role-playing, offering players a vast open-world environment to explore.

Grand Theft Auto IV, commonly abbreviated as GTA IV, is an action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. The game was initially released in 2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, followed by a Microsoft Windows release later that year. IONS

We are hoping—for “one must needs hope”—for creative nonfiction, theoretical essays, and craft essays that seek radical new ways to explore and express theological ideas; that are, like Hagoth, “exceedingly curious.”

We favor creative nonfiction that can trace its lineage back to Michel de Montaigne. Whether narrative, analytical, or devotional, these essays lean ruminative, conversational, meandering, impressionistic, and are reluctant to wax didactic.

As for theoretical essays: we welcome work that playfully and charitably explores the wide world of arts & letters—especially works created from differing religious, non-religious, and even irreligious perspectives—through the peculiar lens of a Latter-day Saint.

We read and publish submissions as quickly as possible, and accept simultaneous submissions.
